experience across various roles where she has worked with adolescents who are neurodiverse, have learning needs, or struggle with anxiety or depression, has equipped her with skills and tools to effectively support young people who are facing a wide range of challenges. Arwyn lives in Brisbane with her husband and has two wonderful adult daughters. She loves music, drawing and dancing, and when she is not working as a psychologist, she can be found hiking in the bush, brushcutting weeds on their property or tango dancing.
Alex has a keen interest in working with people experiencing PTSD and was commissioned into the Australian Army as a Military Psychologist for three years. She has since transferred to the Reserves as of May 2021. Prior to her work as a Clinical Psychologist, Alex originally trained as a nurse and midwife in South Africa. Alex and her husband are keen travelers, having backpacked around the world for a number of years in their youth, and most recently they traveled around the ‘top end’ of Australia in a tent for 3 months, before settling on the Sunshine Coast. She has two adult sons (one of whom is in the Australian Navy), owns far too many books, adores her two cats (rest assured she is also a dog person), and has run a few marathons in her time.
